What is the Required Area for a Karaoke Room?

According to Clause 2, Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing Article 6 and Annex 4 on the List of conditional investment and business lines of the Investment Law 2016, the business of karaoke services is a conditional business line.

To be specific, based on the provisions of Article 4, Decree 54/2019/ND-CP, the business of karaoke services must ensure the following conditions:

- Be an enterprise or business household established in accordance with the law.- Ensure conditions for fire prevention and fighting, and security and order as stipulated in Decree 96/2016/ND-CP.- The karaoke room must have a usable area of 20 square meters or more, excluding ancillary works.- It is not allowed to install door locks inside the karaoke room or install alarm devices (except for fire and explosion alarm devices).

Thus, the karaoke room must have a usable area of 20 square meters or more, excluding ancillary works.
