What is the procedure if no investor submits the registration documents upon the expiration of the registration period for an investment project involving land use?
Based on Clause 5, Article 80 of Decree 25/2020/ND-CP (effective from April 20, 2020), in the case where the deadline for registration to implement an investment project involving land has expired and no investor has submitted a registration file, the Department of Planning and Investment reports to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution in one of the following two ways:
- Permit an extension of the deadline for registration to implement the investment project involving land;
- Determine a plan to re-announce the project information.
