What is the Overall Technical Design?
Clause 11, Article 3 of Decree 15/2021/ND-CP regulates the overall technical design as follows:
Overall technical design (Front-End Engineering Design), hereinafter referred to as FEED design, is the design stage established according to international practices for projects with technological designs after the construction investment project is approved. It is aimed at concretizing the requirements for technological lines, technical parameters of major equipment, materials to be used, and construction solutions serving the preparation of contractor selection dossiers according to EPC contracts or according to specific requirements to implement the next design step.
