What are the Responsibilities of Hanoi in the Development of the Capital Region?
According to Article 24 of Decree 91/2021/ND-CP (Effective from December 5, 2021), the responsibilities of Hanoi city are specified as follows:
Proactively cooperate with ministries and central authorities to support the provinces within the Capital Region by expanding forms of linkage, cooperation, and joint development, and further promoting the role of driving economic and social advancement of the provinces in the region, as well as the leading developmental role of the Capital Region.
Proactively propose the construction of special mechanisms and policies to develop the Capital, ensuring it is within the context of the City for the nation and the nation for the City's development, becoming increasingly civilized and modern. At the same time, ensure it aligns with the capacity to mobilize a diverse range of potentials, advantages, and the proactive capabilities of the Capital to create development momentum for the economy and society of the Capital Region and the entire country.
