Procedure for Adjustment and Supplementation of the Project Management Practice Certificate Content

According to the current legal regulations, the Project Management Practice Certificate is classified into the following categories: Project Management Practice Certificate Class I, Project Management Practice Certificate Class II, and Project Management Practice Certificate Class III.
Individuals who have been issued a Project Management Practice Certificate and wish to adjust or add content to their Certificate can have the competent state authority adjust or add content to the Certificate in accordance with legal regulations.
Procedures for Adjustment and Supplementation of Project Management Practice Certificates are Specifically Implemented as Follows:
1. Conditions for Adjustment and Supplementation:
Individuals who have been issued a Project Management Practice Certificate can adjust or add content to their Project Management Practice Certificate when needed.
2. Dossier for Adjustment and Supplementation:
Including:
- Application form for the issuance of a Project Management Practice Certificate;
- Relevant documents related to the requested adjustments or additions;
- Two color photos, size 4 x 6 cm, with a white background, taken within no more than 6 months;
3. Process for Adjustment and Supplementation:
- Individuals shall submit one dossier requesting the adjustment or addition of content to the Project Management Practice Certificate online, via mail, or directly at the competent authority issuing the Project Management Practice Certificate.
- Within 20 days from the date of receiving a complete and valid dossier, the competent authority is responsible for issuing the Project Management Practice Certificate;
Note: In cases where the dossier is incomplete or invalid, the competent authority issuing the Project Management Practice Certificate must send a one-time written notice to the individual requesting the adjustment or addition of content to the Project Management Practice Certificate within 5 days from the date of receiving the dossier.
4. Competent Authority for Adjustment and Supplementation:
- The specialized construction agency under the Ministry of Construction issues the Class I Project Management Practice Certificate.
- The Department of Construction issues Class II and Class III Project Management Practice Certificates.
- Professional organizations recognized to be eligible to issue construction practice certificates can issue Class II and Class III Project Management Practice Certificates to their members.
5. Processing Time: 20 days, from the date of receiving a complete and valid dossier.
6. Fee for Adjustment and Supplementation: 150,000 VND (One hundred and fifty thousand dong) per certificate.
7. Validity Period of the Certificate: 5 years (remaining validity period of the Certificate being adjusted or supplemented). For the practice certificates of foreign individuals, the validity is determined based on the validity period stated in the work permit or temporary residence card issued by the competent authority but does not exceed 5 years.
