Procedure for Adjustment and Supplementation of the Contents of the Building Survey Practice Certificate

Legal Basis: - Construction Law 2014; Decree 15/2021/ND-CP; Decree 100/2018/ND-CP; Circular 38/2022/TT-BTC; Amended Construction Law 2020.

According to current legal regulations, the Construction Survey Practice Certificate is classified into the following categories: Class I Construction Survey Practice Certificate, Class II Construction Survey Practice Certificate, and Class III Construction Survey Practice Certificate.

Individuals who have been granted a Construction Survey Practice Certificate and wish to amend or supplement the certificate's content will be adjusted and supplemented by a competent state authority according to legal regulations.

Procedures for amending and supplementing the Construction Survey Practice Certificate are specifically carried out as follows:

1. Conditions for amendment and supplementation:

Individuals who have been granted a Construction Survey Practice Certificate may have its content amended and supplemented upon request.

2. Documents for amendment and supplementation:

Include:

- Application form for the Construction Survey Practice Certificate;

- Documents related to the requested amendment and supplementation;

- 02 color photos size 4 x 6 cm with a white background, taken within the last 06 months;

3. Process for amending and supplementing the content of the Construction Survey Practice Certificate

- The individual submits 01 dossier requesting amendment and supplementation of the content of the Construction Survey Practice Certificate online, by post, or directly at the competent authority for the issuance of the Construction Survey Practice Certificate.

- Within 20 days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid dossier, the competent authority is responsible for issuing the Construction Survey Practice Certificate;

Note: If the dossier is incomplete or invalid, the competent authority responsible for issuing the Construction Survey Practice Certificate must notify the individual requesting the amendment and supplementation in writing within 05 days from the date of receipt of the dossier.

4. Authority for amendment and supplementation:

- Class I: Specialized construction agency under the Ministry of Construction issues.

- Class II, Class III: Department of Construction issues; or a social-professional organization recognized as qualified to issue the Construction Practice Certificate for its members.

5. Processing time: 20 days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid dossier.

6. Fees for amendment and supplementation: 150,000 VND (One hundred and fifty thousand VND) per certificate.

7. Validity period of the Certificate: Remaining validity period of the old Certificate but not exceeding 05 years.

Note: For the practice certificate of foreign individuals, the validity is determined according to the duration recorded in the work permit or temporary residence card issued by the competent authority, but not exceeding 05 years.
