Language Used in Documentation for Investment Procedure Implementation

Article 5 of Decree 31/2021/ND-CP stipulates the language used in the documents for investment procedures as follows:

- The documents for investment procedures, reports, and letters sent to the competent State agencies must be made in Vietnamese.

- In case the documents for investment procedures contain materials in a foreign language, the investor must provide a Vietnamese translation attached with the foreign language materials.

- In case the documents for investment procedures are made in both Vietnamese and a foreign language, the Vietnamese version shall be used to carry out the investment procedures.

- The investor is responsible in the event of discrepancies between the content of the translation or the copy and the original, and in the event of discrepancies between the Vietnamese version and the foreign language version.
