Forms of Investment Purchase of Shares and Capital Contribution in Economic Organizations
Clause 2, Article 25 of the Investment Law 2020 (effective from January 1, 2021) stipulates that investors may purchase shares or portions of contributed capital of economic organizations in the following forms:
- Purchase shares of a joint-stock company from the company or its shareholders;
- Purchase portions of contributed capital from members of a limited liability company to become a member of the limited liability company;
- Purchase portions of contributed capital from general partners in a partnership to become a capital-contributing partner of the partnership;
- Purchase portions of contributed capital from members of other economic organizations not falling into the above-mentioned cases.
The above is our support regarding forms of purchasing shares or portions of contributed capital of economic organizations starting from 2021.
Sincerely!
