Capital Region Coordinating Council consists of how many members?
According to Clause 1, Article 13 of Decree 91/2021/ND-CP (Effective from December 05, 2021) which provides for the coordination organization of the Capital Region, the composition is as follows:
The Capital Region Coordination Council consists of the following members:
a) Chairman of the Council: Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam;
b) Permanent Vice Chairman: Minister of Planning and Investment;
c) Vice Chairmen: Minister of Construction and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City;
d) Standing Member: Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;
(dd) Members:
- Deputy ministers and equivalents of ministries and ministerial-level agencies: Finance; Industry and Trade; Transport; Construction; Health, Education and Training; Foreign Affairs; Public Security, Defense; Agriculture and Rural Development; Science and Technology; Natural Resources and Environment; Information and Communications; Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Home Affairs; Justice; Office of the Government of Vietnam;
- Chairmen of the People's Committees of the provinces: Bac Ninh; Hung Yen; Ha Nam; Hoa Binh; Phu Tho; Bac Giang; Vinh Phuc; Hai Duong; Thai Nguyen;
- Representatives who are distinguished experts, scientists from educational and scientific research institutions in the region; reputable representatives from the business community of the Capital Region.
e) The Standing Committee of the regional coordination council includes the Chairman, Vice Chairmen, and Standing Member.
