What are principles of management and maintenance of the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 5 of the Regulation on management and provision of information on the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs issued together with Decision 768/QD-UBDT in 2022 stipulating principles of management and maintenance of the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam as follows:

1. The Office of the Committee is responsible for managing the information provided on the Portal; proposing personnel of the Editorial Board to receive, synthesize, edit, update and publish information; coordinating with relevant agencies and units in handling the provision of information on the Portal.

2. The Digital Transformation Center is responsible for managing information technology infrastructure and services, ensuring the operation and maintaining the continuous, smooth and safe operation of the Portal.

3. Heads of units are responsible for the content of information provided by their units and posted on the Portal.

4. The head of the unit in charge of the specialized pages and categories is responsible for the management, the contents of the posted information and the time to update information for the specialized pages and categories under their management.

What are tasks of the Editorial Board of the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 6 of the Regulation on management and provision of information on the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs issued together with Decision 768/QD-UBDT in 2022 stipulating tasks of the Editorial Board of the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam as follows:

1. The Editorial Board is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the following tasks:

a) Build, maintain the operation and development of the Portal; coordinate with units on duty in ensuring the provision of information. Orient, approve, manage and develop Portal content: Collect, exploit, receive, edit, review and process information; approve and take responsibility for the content of news and articles posted; ensure timely and accurate update of official information of the Committee on the Portal.

b) Propose measures to improve the quality of information on the Portal. Guide units and organizations to provide information in accordance with the law and the Committee.

c) When eligible, the Editorial Board organizes to translate and update the basic information of the Portal into English and build interfaces and information content for some ethnic minority languages.

d) Organize professional training courses related to the Portal's operation in accordance with the law to improve the Portal's operational efficiency.

What are titles of the Editorial Board of  the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 2 Article 6 of the Regulation on management and provision of information on the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs issued together with Decision 768/QD-UBDT in 2022 stipulating titles of the Editorial Board of the Portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Vietnam as follows:

2. The Portal Editorial Board includes:

The Chairman and Deputy Heads of the Committee, members work on a part-time basis. The leader of the Committee in charge of the Commission's Office and the Digital Transformation Center is the Head of the Committee; The Chief of Office of the Committee is the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee; The Director of the Propaganda Department is the Deputy Head of the Department; Leaders of a number of departments and units are members; The Office of the Committee is the permanent unit of the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board is established by the decision of the Minister, the Chairman of the Committee on the basis of the proposal of the Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel and the Chief of the Office of the Committee. The specific responsibilities and duties of each member of the Editorial Board are assigned by the Head of the Board and operate in accordance with the Operational Regulations of the Portal Editorial Board issued by the Head.
