Press Conference Not in Accordance with Announced Content Fined 5 Million?

According to Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree 119/2020/ND-CP (Effective from December 1, 2020) stipulates violations of press conference regulations as follows:

A fine ranging from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed for conducting a press conference with content that does not match the content approved by the state agency in charge of press management, or does not match the content notified to the state agency in charge of press management.

And according to Clause 2, Article 4 of this Decree: The fine level for administrative violations stipulated in Chapters II and III of this Decree is the fine level applicable to organizations, except for violations stipulated in Article 6 of this Decree which are applicable to individuals.

Article 11 is part of Chapter II, so the fines applicable are for organizations.

Therefore, in the case where a press organization conducts a press conference with content that does not match the content notified to the state agency in charge of press management, it can be fined up to VND 5,000,000.
