Graduates of College Meeting the Conditions for Issuance of a Securities Practice Certificate?
Based on Clause 2, Article 97 of the Securities Law 2019, the securities practicing certificate is granted to individuals who meet the following conditions:
- Possess full civil capacity; not subject to criminal prosecution or prohibition from practicing securities according to legal regulations;
- Have a university degree or higher;
- Possess professional qualifications in securities;
- Meet the requirements in the securities practicing certificate examination appropriate to the type of securities practicing certificate requested. Foreign nationals with securities professional certificates or those who have legally practiced securities abroad must meet the requirements in the examination on securities law and the securities market of Vietnam.
Thus, in terms of educational qualifications, a minimum of a university degree is mandatory, in addition to meeting the other remaining conditions to satisfy the requirements for granting an individual securities practicing certificate.
