Branch of a Foreign Asset Management Company in Vietnam: When Are Periodic Disclosures Required?
Based on Clause 1, Article 123 of the Securities Law 2019 (effective from January 1, 2021), it is stipulated that branches of foreign fund management companies in Vietnam must periodically disclose information in the following cases:
- Audited annual financial statements, semi-annual financial statements reviewed by an approved audit organization, and quarterly financial statements;
- Financial safety ratio reports as of June 30 reviewed, and as of December 31 audited by an approved audit organization;
- Annual reports;
- Corporate governance situation reports;
- Annual General Meeting of Shareholders resolutions for securities companies and investment fund management companies that are joint-stock companies;
- Other information as prescribed by law.
