Working with the Accused to Gather Information Related to the Allegations in the Police Force
Working with the accused to gather information related to the content of the accusation in the police force as stipulated in Article 16 of Circular 129/2020/TT-BCA. Specifically:
- The verification team must work directly with the accused; require a written explanation regarding the accused content and provide information, documents, and evidence related to the accusation and the explanation content. The content of the meeting with the accused must be recorded in minutes following the prescribed form, signed by the accused (or the representative of the accused agency, unit), the chairperson of the meeting, and made in 02 copies. One copy is given to the accused (if requested) and one copy is kept in the dossier for resolving the accusation.
- In case the accused's explanation is unclear; the information, documents, and evidence provided by the accused are incomplete, the Verification Team shall require the accused to continue explaining and providing information, documents, and evidence on unclear issues.
