Working Relationship Between the Ward Chairperson and the Neighborhood Group in Ho Chi Minh City
Based on Article 28 of Decree 33/2021/ND-CP, the provisions are as follows:
The Chairman of the ward must promptly inform the policies and directives of the Communist Party and the State, the executive and directive documents of superior state agencies, and the People's Committee of the ward to the residential groups for implementation; inspect the implementation of the Communist Party's policies and the Laws of the State in the area; promote the people's ownership rights, effectively implement the regulations on democracy in the ward, and the self-governance activities of the residential groups.
The Chairman of the ward assigns ward officials to be responsible for and monitor the situation in the residential groups. Monthly, the assigned ward officials shall work with the Head of the residential group in their charge or directly attend the meetings of the residential group to hear the situation reports, recommendations, and resolve the people's complaints according to the provisions of the law.
