Working for More Than 5 Years in Difficult Areas Required to Receive Long-Term Allowances?
According to Article 5 of Decree 76/2019/ND-CP on long-term working allowances in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions:
The subjects specified in Article 2 of this Decree are entitled to a monthly allowance calculated based on the statutory pay rate and the actual working time in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions as follows:
The rate of 0.5 applies to individuals with actual working time in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions from 5 years to less than 10 years;
The rate of 0.7 applies to individuals with actual working time in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions from 10 years to less than 15 years;
The rate of 1.0 applies to individuals with actual working time in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions of 15 years or more.
...
Thus, according to the regulations, individuals with actual working time in regions with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions from 5 years or more will receive a long-term working allowance. The longer the working time, the higher the allowance, with a maximum rate of 1.0 times the statutory pay rate per month.
Respectfully!
