Whether Those Who Have Completed Military Service Are Given Priority When Taking Official Exams?
Based on Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP stipulating the subjects that are given priority in the recruitment examination into official positions as follows:
- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, war invalids, persons receiving policies as war invalids, type B war invalids: An additional 7.5 points will be added to the result of the second round;
- Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, professional soldiers returning to civilian life, cipher officers transferring to other sectors, reserve officer training graduates, graduates of commune-level military command training in the grassroots military sector who receive the rank of reserve officer and are registered as reserve officers, children of martyrs, children of war invalids, children of sick soldiers, children of persons receiving policies as war invalids, children of type B war invalids, biological children of resistance activists affected by toxic chemicals, children of Heroes of the Armed Forces, and children of Labor Heroes: An additional 5 points will be added to the result of the second round;
- Persons who have completed military service, service in the people's police, voluntary youth teams: An additional 2.5 points will be added to the result of the second round.
Thus, having completed military service, according to the regulations when taking or considering for official positions, you will be awarded an additional 2.5 points to the result of the second round.
