What You Should Know About Vietnam Visas

1. What is a Visa?
A visa is a type of document issued by a competent authority of Vietnam, allowing foreigners to enter Vietnam.
2. Validity and Form of Visas
- A visa may be valid for single or multiple entries and cannot be converted for other purposes.
- A visa is issued separately for each person, except in the case of children under 14 years of age who are included in a passport with a parent or guardian.
- Visas are stamped into a passport or issued separately.

Note:
- Expired visas may be considered for a new visa issuance.
- Visa validity is at least 30 days shorter than the validity of the passport or international travel document.
