What types of weapons are Forest Protection Departments equipped with?

According to Clause 2, Article 8 of Circular 17/2018/TT-BCA, the provisions on the subjects and types of equipped weapons are as follows:

The Department of Forest Protection, Provincial Forest Protection Sub-department, centrally-run city Forest Protection Sub-department, Regional Forest Protection Sub-department, District Forest Protection Division, district-level town, provincial city Forest Protection Division, National Park Forest Protection Division, Special-use Forest Protection Division, Protective Forest Protection Division, Regional Forest Protection, Special Task Force Forest Protection Team, Mobile Forest Protection and Forest Firefighting Team, Local Forest Protection Station, and Forest Gate Station shall be equipped with:

+ Handguns, submachine guns, ammunition for these guns;

+ Various types of rudimentary weapons.

Thus, the National Park Forest Protection Division will be equipped with handguns, submachine guns, ammunition for these guns, and various types of rudimentary weapons.
