What Tasks and Solutions Does the Vietnam Maritime Administration Need to Implement to Ensure Traffic Safety During the Lunar New Year 2022?

Based on Article 1 of Decision 2818/QD-BGTVT of 2017 stipulating the position and functions of the Vietnam Maritime Administration as follows:

1. The Vietnam Maritime Administration is an organization under the Ministry of Transport that performs the function of advising and assisting the Minister of Transport (hereinafter referred to as the Minister) in state management and law enforcement in the maritime sector nationwide.

2. The Vietnam Maritime Administration has legal status, has a seal with the National Emblem, is allowed to open accounts at the State Treasury, and has its headquarters in Hanoi.

3. The trade name of the Vietnam Maritime Administration in English is: VIETNAM MARITIME ADMINISTRATION, abbreviated as: VINAMARINE.

Additionally, based on Section 4 of Official Telegram 32/CD-BGTVT of 2021 providing that the Vietnam Maritime Administration must implement tasks and solutions to ensure traffic safety during the Lunar New Year of 2022 as follows:

Vietnam Maritime Administration: Direct maritime port authorities to enhance cooperation with the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration and local governments to inspect coastal transport routes and passenger vehicles from shore to islands within their authority; closely monitor the pilotage of ships; strictly handle organizations and individuals that violate regulations on maintaining maritime safety, especially paying attention to waterways from shore to islands in the event of adverse weather affecting ship activities.

The above information pertains to the tasks and solutions of the Vietnam Maritime Administration to ensure safety during the Lunar New Year, as well as the guided position and functions of the administration as mentioned above.
