What Military Rank Does a Junior Sergeant with Intermediate Educational Qualification from the People's Public Security Force Graduate with?
Point d, Clause 3, Article 22 of the Law on People's Public Security of 2018 stipulates as follows:
- The period that officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers spend studying at school is counted towards the duration for considering a promotion in military rank; for officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers who have been demoted, after 01 year from the date of demotion, if they show improvements, they will be considered for promotion in military rank.
Thus, according to the above-mentioned regulation, the time you spend studying at school will still be counted towards the duration for considering your promotion in rank.
If you are a professional non-commissioned officer with the rank of Sergeant First Class for 1 year, and you now go to study at the intermediate level of the People's Public Security, the time you spend studying at school will be counted towards the duration for considering your promotion in rank.
Additionally, Clause 3, Article 22 of the Law on People's Public Security of 2018 stipulates the duration for considering promotion in rank as follows:
- For non-commissioned officers and professional officers: Sergeant First Class to Junior Lieutenant: 2 years.
According to this regulation, if you have held the rank of Sergeant First Class for 1 year and you now go to study at the intermediate level, if the duration of the intermediate study in public security is 1 year or more, you will hold the rank of Junior Lieutenant upon graduation; if the duration of your study is less than 1 year, you will still hold the rank of Sergeant First Class.
If you are a professional non-commissioned officer with the rank of Sergeant First Class for 1 year, studying at the intermediate level of the People's Public Security, you will hold the rank of Junior Lieutenant upon graduation.
Respectfully!
