According to Article 3 of Circular 16/2024/TT-BCA, the specifications for the identification card are as follows:

- The identification card will have two sides, with a green-to-yellow gradient background on the front and a combination of decorative patterns, lotus flower images, and intersecting curved lines on the back.

- The national emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the photograph of the cardholder (for Vietnamese citizens aged 6 and above) will be printed directly on the identification card.

The diameter of the national emblem will be 12mm, and the size of the cardholder's photograph will be 20mm x 30mm. The QR code will be positioned at 18mm x 18mm.

- The colors used for the information on the identification card are as follows:

+ Purple will be used for the following text:
