What are the functions of the District Health Office stipulated?
The functions of the District Health Office are regulated under Clause 7, Article 1 of Decree 108/2020/ND-CP, specifically:
Advising and assisting the District People's Committee in performing state management functions in the areas of: Preventive healthcare; medical examination and treatment, rehabilitation; traditional medicine; reproductive health; medical equipment; pharmaceuticals; cosmetics; food safety; health insurance; population.
In cases where a separate Health Office is not established, the functions of advising and assisting the District People's Committee in state management of the health sector shall be carried out by the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee.
