What are standards for awarding the “Advanced Laborerer” title in Vietnam?
Based on Article 24 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 that stipulates the title of “Advanced Laborer” and “Advanced Fighter” in Vietnam:
Article 24. Titles of “Advanced Laborer” and “Advanced Fighter”
1. The title “Advanced Laborer” is awarded to officials and public employees, and workers who meet the following criteria:
a) Successfully complete tasks or above;
b) Have a spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, solidarity, mutual support, and actively participate in emulation movements.
2. The title “Advanced Fighter” is awarded to servicemen, workers, officials and public employees in defense within the People's Army; regular militia, mobile militia; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and workers working in agencies and units within the People's Public Security who meet the criteria stipulated in clause 1 of this Article.
3. The title “Advanced Laborer” is awarded to workers, farmers, and laborers not subject to the provisions of clauses 1 and 2 of this Article and meet the following criteria:
a) Work and produce effectively, actively participate in emulation movements and social activities;
b) Exemplarily comply with the guidelines of the Communist Party, policies, and laws of the State; possess ethics, a healthy lifestyle, solidarity, mutual assistance, and help everyone in the community.

Thus, the criteria for considering the award of the title "Advanced Laborer" in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:
[1] For officials and public employees, and workers who meet the following criteria:
- Successfully complete tasks or above
- Have a spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, solidarity, mutual support, and actively participate in emulation movements
Note: Ministries, departments, provinces, within the scope of their duties and powers, stipulate detailed guidance for the criteria for awarding the title of Advanced Laborer.
[2] For servicemen, workers, officials and public employees in defense within the People's Army; regular militia, mobile militia; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and workers working in agencies and units within the People's Public Security who meet the following criteria:
- Successfully complete tasks or above
- Have a spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, solidarity, mutual support, and actively participate in emulation movements
Note: The Ministry of National Defense stipulates detailed criteria for awarding the title “Advanced Fighter” for regular militia and mobile militia.
[3] For workers, farmers, and laborers not subject to clauses [1] and [2] who meet the following criteria:
- Work and produce effectively, actively participate in emulation movements and social activities
- Exemplarily comply with the guidelines of the Communist Party, policies, and laws of the State; possess ethics, a healthy lifestyle, solidarity, mutual assistance, and help everyone in the community
Note: Provincial People's Committees stipulate detailed criteria for awarding the title of Advanced Laborer.

What is the accompanying bonus amount for the title of Advanced Laborer in Vietnam?
Based on Article 54 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP, it stipulates the bonus amount for emulation titles:
Article 54. Bonus amount for emulation titles
- For individuals:
a) The title “National Emulation Soldier” is awarded a Certificate of Recognition, frame, Badge, badge box, and a bonus of 4.5 times the statutory pay rate;
b) The title of Emulation Soldier of ministries, departments, provinces is awarded a Certificate of Recognition, frame, Badge, badge box, and a bonus of 3.0 times the statutory pay rate;
c) The title “Basic Emulation Soldier” is awarded a Certificate of Recognition, frame, and a bonus of 1.0 times the statutory pay rate;
d) The title “Advanced Laborer” and “Advanced Fighter” is awarded a bonus of 0.3 times the statutory pay rate.

Thus, individuals awarded the title of Advanced Laborer receive a bonus of 0.3 times the statutory pay rate.
Currently, the statutory pay rate is 2,340,000 VND (according to Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP).
Therefore, individuals awarded the title of Advanced Laborer receive a bonus of 702,000 VND.
What does the application for consideration of an emulation title in Vietnam include?
Based on Article 84 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 that stipulates the application for consideration of emulation titles and forms of commendation:
Article 84. Dossier for consideration of emulation titles and forms of commendation
1. The application for consideration of an emulation title includes:
a) A proposal submission for consideration of the emulation title;
b) A report on achievements of individuals, collectives;
c) Minutes of emulation evaluation;
