What are responsibilities of the Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City?

Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 20 of the Regulation on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City issued together with Decision 29/2022/QD-UBND of Ho Chi Minh City stipulating responsibilities of the Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City as follows:

1. The Director of the Department of Health is responsible for:

a) Implement and organize the implementation of regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Health in Ho Chi Minh City; concretize the work program, activities, work coordination within the scope and authority of the Department, in accordance with the provisions of law.

b) Issue working regulations of the Department of Health and its attached agencies and units; organize the arrangement of rooms, arrange civil servants in accordance with the professional requirements and tasks of the sector, ensuring to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the field of health in the city.
