What are regulations on the School of Audit Training and Professional Development in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1, Article 17 of the Regulations on Training and Professional Development of the State Audit Office of Vietnam issued together with Decision 1280/QD-KTNN in 2022, the School of Audit Training and Professional Development is regulated as follows:
1. School of Audit Training and Professional Development
1.1. To be responsible for organizing the following training programs:
a) Training according to the standards of the position of State Audit Officer
b) Training for leaders and managers at the level of department
c) Training on knowledge and skills in professional skills according to the requirements of the position when assigned by the General Auditor of the State Audit Office
d) Seminars and forums on professional skills of the State Audit Office
dd) Training courses taught by foreign experts at the State Audit Office
e) Training to improve the professional skills and teaching methods for the teaching staff of the State Audit Office and lecturers of the unit
g) Training on knowledge and skills in information technology of the State Audit Office (excluding software training courses for technology transfer under information technology projects)
h) Training on knowledge of public administration at all levels and training on knowledge of national defense and security (when organizing training and professional development at the State Audit Office)
i) Other training courses assigned by the General Auditor of the State Audit Office
1.2. To cooperate with the International Cooperation Bureau in organizing and managing training courses for foreigners at the State Audit Office or courses (forums, seminars, conferences, etc.) organized by international organizations and assigned to the State Audit Office to implement.

According to Clause 2, Article 17 of the Regulations on Training and Professional Development of the State Audit Office of Vietnam issued together with Decision 1280/QD-KTNN in 2022, the International Cooperation Bureau is regulated as follows:
2. International Cooperation Bureau
a) To be responsible for organizing the following training courses: Training courses for foreigners in Vietnam; Courses (forums, seminars, conferences, etc.) organized by international organizations and assigned to the State Audit Office of Vietnam to implement; Training courses within the framework of foreign programs and projects.
b) To cooperate with the School of Audit Training and Professional Development in organizing training courses taught by foreign experts at the State Audit Office.
What are the tasks of the Information Center and the units under the State Audit Office in training in audit professional skills in Vietnam?
According to Clauses 3 and 4, Article 17 of the Regulations on Training and Professional Development of the State Audit Office of Vietnam issued together with Decision 1280/QD-KTNN in 2022, the following regulations are stipulated:
3. Information Center
a) To be responsible for organizing software training courses for technology transfer under information technology projects;
b) To cooperate with the School of Audit Training and Professional Development in organizing training courses on information technology of the State Audit Office.
4. Units under the State Audit Office
To be responsible for organizing the following training programs:
a) Training programs and workshops on knowledge and skills in professional skills according to the training and professional development plan issued by the General Auditor of the State Audit Office;
b) Seminars and forums for sharing experiences for civil servants and public employees of the unit.
What are the responsibilities of the units in organizing training in audit professional skills in Vietnam?
According to Clause 6, Article 17 of the Regulations on Training and Professional Development of the State Audit Office of Vietnam issued together with Decision 1280/QD-KTNN in 2022, the responsibilities of the units in organizing training in audit professional skills are as follows:
5. Responsibilities of the units in organizing training
a) Leading unit: To be responsible for building the training plan, content; class organization program; invite lecturers; arrange facilities and conditions for the classroom; To organize the management, monitoring, evaluation of quality, issuance of certificates (if any); To prepare a report on the training course for the General Auditor of the State Audit Office (via the Department of Organization and Personnel); To manage and use the training budget according to current regulations of the State.
b) Coordinating unit: To coordinate according to the functions and tasks assigned by the General Auditor of the State Audit Office and at the request of the leading unit organizing the training.
