Pursuant to Articles 4,5,6 and 8 of Decree 02/2021/ND-CP stipulating the above contents as follows:
Traditional flag of customs
The traditional customs flag is rectangular, 1.40 m wide and 2.10 m long. The flag fabric background is red, in the middle is a yellow 5-pointed star, in the upper left corner are the yellow capital letters "PROTECT NATIONAL SOVEREIGN INTERESTS" (arranged in 2 lines: The upper line is the words " PROTECTION", the lower line is the words "NATIONAL SOVEREIGN INTERESTS", the last stroke of the last word does not go beyond the tip of the starlight on the right), below the two lines is the customs symbol.
Customs flag
The customs flag has an isosceles triangle shape, blue fabric, the bottom edge is 2/3 of the height, and in the middle is the customs symbol.
1. Flags flying on boats with engines with a total capacity of 2000 HP or more have a bottom edge of 0.60 m and a height of 0.90 m.
2. Flags hung on other customs patrol, control and supervision vehicles have a bottom edge of 0.30 m and a height of 0.45 m.
Customs symbol
The customs symbol is a circle, with a blue background; Inside there is a red background shield; In the shield image above, there is a yellow 5-pointed star, in the middle there is a key cage, an anchor, and a swallow's wing, all of which are yellow; Above are the capital letters "HẢI QUAN VIỆT NAM" in yellow; Below is the words Vietnam Customs written in English in capital letters "VIET NAM CUSTOMS" in yellow; On the side of the outer circle are two yellow cycad branches; The outermost part of the icon has a red border.

What are customs insignias according to the latest regulations in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 10 of Decree 02/2021/ND-CP regulating the above contents as follows: Customs insignias
1. Customs insignias are used for spring - summer, fall - winter and formal wear
a) Insignia background: Made of fabric, woven with embossed patterns, rectangular, with a tapered beveled end, measuring 48 mm wide, 120 mm long, slanted tip 18 mm, dark blue insignia background.
Particularly, the General Department leaders use an orange-yellow insignia background, with a red border around the edges of the insignia background.
b) Insignia chrysanthemum: Has an embossed image of a 5-pointed star in the middle of two rice flowers, mounted at the sharp end of the insignia base.
Civil servants and public employees holding leadership positions: Use yellow buttons.
Civil servants and public employees not holding leadership positions: Use silver buttons.
c) Shortened customs symbols: Key cage, anchor, swallow wing.
Civil servants and public employees holding leadership positions: Use the yellow symbol.
Civil servants and public employees not holding leadership positions: Use the silver symbol.
d) Badge star: Yellow, embossed. Stars are attached in a vertical row in the middle of the insignia, between the symbol and the insignia button.
Civil servants and public employees holding senior leadership positions: 02 stars.
Civil servants and public employees holding deputy leadership positions: 01 star.
Civil servants and public employees who do not hold leadership positions do not have stars and insignias.
d) Insignia bar: Attached at the square end of the insignia base.
Leader of the General Department of Customs: 03 yellow horizontal lines.
Civil servants holding leadership positions at the Department, Department level and equivalent positions: 03 horizontal yellow lines.
Civil servants holding leadership positions at the Branch level, Customs Control Team and equivalent positions: 02 horizontal yellow lines.
Civil servants holding leadership positions at the Group and Team level under the Branch; Team level of the Customs Control Team and equivalent positions: 01 yellow horizontal line.
Civil servants and public employees who do not hold leadership positions use silver lines, including: Senior customs inspectors and the equivalent of 03 horizontal lines; Chief customs inspector and equivalent to 02 horizontal lines; Customs inspector and equivalent to 01 horizontal line; Intermediate customs inspector and equivalent to 02 horizontal "V" shaped lines; Customs officer and equivalent to 01 horizontal "V" shaped line.
Civil servants and probationary employees: Do not attach rank insignias.
2. Customs insignias used for anti-smuggling clothing
a) Insignia base: Dark blue, fabric, rectangular, width 48 mm, length 100 mm.
b) Badge star: Embossed star. Stars are attached in a vertical row in the middle of the rank insignia.
c) Rank insignia: Embossed, attached at the end of the insignia base.
d) Shortened customs symbols: Key cage, anchor, embroidered swallow wings.
d) Specific regulations on symbols, stars, and stripes such as insignia of spring - summer, autumn - winter costumes and formal uniforms in Clause 1 of this Article.
