What are conditions for registration for recruitment of public employees in the Vietnam Register in 2023?

Pursuant to Article 22 of the Law on Public Employees in 2010 (amended by Clause 12.a Article 2 of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants and the Law on Public Employees in 2019) stipulating conditions for registration for recruitment of public employees as follows:

A person who meets all the following conditions, regardless of nationality, gender, social status, belief and religion, may register for public employee recruitment:

- Bearing Vietnamese citizenship and residing in Vietnam:

- Reaching full 18 years of age. For a number of areas of cultural activity, arts. physical training and spoils, the age eligible for recruitment may be lower as provided by law with written consent of at-law representatives:

- Filing an application for recruitment:

- Having a clear personal background;

- Possessing diplomas, training certificates or practice certificates or aptitude and skills relevant to the working position for which he/she applies:

- Being physically fit for work or tasks;

- Meeting other conditions required by the working position for which he/she applies and determined by the public non-business unit, which must not be contrary to law.

Note: The following persons may not register for public employee recruitment:

- Having lost civil act capacity or having such capacity restricted;

- Being examined for penal liability; currently serving a criminal sentence or ruling of the court or serving the administrative measure of confinement to a compulsory medical treatment establishment, an compulsory educational institution or a reformatory.

What are procedures for registration for recruitment of public employees in the Vietnam Register in 2023?

Step 01: Candidates need to prepare and submit the application from March 6 to April 6, 2023 during office hours at the above location or send it by post.

An application includes:

- Application form for admission.

- Certified photocopies of following papers: Professional diploma (or provisional graduation certificate); school report or academic transcript; high school diploma; training certificates relevant to the job position.

- The documents of the application must be complete, clean and contained in an envelope 24x34cm.

Step 02: Check your application for admission

On the basis of comparing the conditions and specific criteria of the position applied for in Section 2 above and the application form, the Vietnam Register shall check the application form; make a list of eligible candidates, admission criteria and a list of ineligible candidates, admission criteria.

Step 03: List of candidates eligible to take the exam; time and place of the recruitment exam; exam result

The list of eligible candidates for the civil service exam of the Vietnam Register will be announced on the website www.vr.org.vn and posted at the headquarters of the Department.

The time and place of the exam will be posted on the website www.vr.org.vn and posted at the head office of the Department; summons is sent to candidates who are eligible to take the exam at the registered candidate's address.

The results of the test scores and the results of the admission will be posted on the website www.vr.org.vn and posted at the headquarters of the Department; and sent to the candidate at the registered candidate's address.

Step 04: Exam

Round 1: Check the eligibility requirements at the Application Form according to the requirements of the job position to be recruited (if satisfied, the candidate can participate in round 2).

Round 2: Examination of specialized professional subjects: Format of interview test.

The content, form and time of the entrance exam are announced by the Department on the website www.vr.org.vn and posted at the headquarters of the Vietnam Register.

Note: Each candidate is only allowed to apply for one job position in each exam.
