 How many rounds of recruitment exams for clerks working at People's Courts at all levels in Vietnam in the first phase of 2024?

According to Subsection 1, Section 3 of Notice 498/TB-TANDTC in 2024, the exam rounds for recruiting Court Secretaries at People's Courts in Vietnam are as follows:

Round 1 (written multiple-choice exam, including 3 sections):

- Section I: General knowledge with 60 questions about the political system, organizational structure of the People's Courts; state administrative management; officials, civil service; Communist Party policies, State laws, duties and responsibilities of officials as per the position requirements, exam duration 60 minutes.

- Section II: English, 30 questions, exam duration 30 minutes.

- Section III: Informatics with 30 questions as per the position requirements, exam duration 30 minutes.

*Exemption from the English exam (Round 1) in the following cases:

- Holding a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in foreign languages;

- Holding a bachelor's or postgraduate degree from abroad (recognized by competent authorities) or graduated from a foreign language training institution in Vietnam;

*Exemption from the Informatics exam (Round 1) in the following cases: Holding a diploma from an intermediate or higher degree in information technology, informatics, or mathematics - informatics.

The results of Round 1 are determined based on the number of correct answers for each section of the exam. If the applicant answers at least 50% of the questions correctly for each section, they are eligible to proceed to Round 2.

Round 2: Professional subject exam:

- Content: Knowledge, capacity, and skills in public service execution according to the position requirements.

- Exam format: Written exam.

- Scoring scale: 100 points.

- Exam duration: 180 minutes.

What documents are required for the application to the Court Secretary recruitment Round 1 in Vietnam in 2024?

According to Subsection 1, Section 4 of Notice 498/TB-TANDTC in 2024, the required documents for the Court Secretary recruitment application Round 1 in 2024 include:

(1) Application registration form (applicants submit 01 hard copy using the provided form). The registration form can be handwritten or typed. It must be signed on each page, and the applicant must commit that the information provided is truthful; any false information will result in the cancellation of the recruitment result, and the applicant will be legally accountable (using the provided form).

(2) Résumé (with a 4x6 photo), certified by the local authority where the applicant resides or by the agency where the applicant is currently working within 30 days from the application submission date (using the provided form).

(3) Judicial record card issued by the Department of Justice where the applicant resides (to be submitted to the receiving agency after recruitment to complete the file).

(4) Authenticated copies of birth certificate, citizen identification card, or identification card issued by competent authorities.

(5) Authenticated copies of diplomas, certificates, and relevant academic transcripts. If the diplomas and transcripts are in a foreign language, they must be accompanied by a notarized Vietnamese translation.

For diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions, they must comply with recognition regulations as stipulated in Circular 13/2021/TT-BGDDT about conditions, procedures, and authority for recognition of diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions for use in Vietnam.

(6) Health certificate issued by a competent healthcare agency within 30 days from the application submission date.

(7) Documents issued by competent authorities confirming the applicant as a priority candidate (if applicable).

(8) Prequalification form (using the provided form).
