Based on Article 16 of Decree 61/2019/ND-CP, the logo of the Vietnam Coast Guard is stipulated as follows:

The logo of the Vietnam Coast Guard features a shield on a dark blue background, with a red outer border and a yellow inner border; in the center is a smaller shield with a red border, two crossed swords behind it, and a picture of an anchor inside; below the insignia is a yellow rice flower; above is a golden five-pointed star, directly beneath the star are the words CẢNH SÁT BIỂN VIỆT NAM, followed immediately below by the words VIETNAM COAST GUARD; below the two rice flowers is a half historic cogwheel in yellow.
