The time limit for resolving the second complaint is extended compared to the first one.
Pursuant to Article 28 of the 2011 Law on Complaints stipulating the time limit for resolving the first complaint as follows:
The time limit for resolving the first complaint is no more than 30 days from the date of acceptance; for complicated cases, the resolution time may be extended but not more than 45 days from the date of acceptance.
In remote and isolated areas where travel is difficult, the time limit for resolving complaints shall not exceed 45 days from the date of acceptance; for complicated cases, the resolution time may be extended but not more than 60 days from the date of acceptance.
Thus, depending on whether the case is simple or complex and the different regions, there are flexible regulations on the time limit for resolving complaints. However, it must not exceed 60 days for cases in remote and isolated areas as stipulated.
Regarding the resolution of the second complaint, Article 37 of the 2011 Law on Complaints stipulates:
The time limit for resolving the second complaint is no more than 45 days from the date of acceptance; for complicated cases, the resolution time may be extended but not more than 60 days from the date of acceptance.
In remote and isolated areas where travel is difficult, the time limit for resolving complaints shall not exceed 60 days from the date of acceptance; for complicated cases, the resolution time may be extended but not more than 70 days from the date of acceptance.
Thus, in general, the time limit for resolving the second complaint is extended compared to the first complaint, specifically, the first instance does not exceed 60 days, while the second instance does not exceed 70 days.
Respectfully!
