National standard TCVN/QS 1822:2021 on Militia and Self-defense Force uniforms issued together with Circular 94/2021/TT-BQP, according to which National standard TCVN/QS 1822-30:2021 on Militia and Self-defense Force uniforms - Part 30: Mosquito net of the standing militia, Section 3 Technical requirements for the product of Mosquito net Militia and Self-defense Force curtain are as follows:

3.1 General requirements

3.1.1 Appearance requirements

- The mosquito net is rectangular in shape;

- The fabric used for the mosquito net must meet appearance requirements, with no appearance defects or the number of appearance defects within the allowable range; no appearance defects such as:

+ Fiber defects: Uneven fibers (thick, thin), fuzziness, clumping, fiber breakage, mixed fibers;

+ Structural defects: Fiber knots, weave marks, fabric stripes, flower marks, thread marks;

+ Dyeing defects: Dyed spots or stripes, color tone deviation, color bleeding, other dyeing defects;

+ Finishing defects: Oblique fibers, creases, wrinkles, scratches, tears;

+ Hygiene defects: Oil stains, rust stains, dirt stains, moisture stains, other defects.

- The finished mosquito net must have a balanced shape, right angles at the corners, parallel and equal edges, straight and even seams;

- Fabric color: Dark blue.

3.1.2 Material requirements

- The fabric used for the standing militia mosquito nets is made of 100% Polyester (PET) filament yarn, woven mesh, dyed with dispersed dye, finished, anti-shrinkage treated; ensuring the technical specifications specified in Annex B.21;

- Peco 60/3 thread of the same color as the main material is used for sewing, ensuring the technical specifications specified in Annex B.6.

3.2 Technical specifications

3.2.1 Basic dimensions

The basic dimensions of the standing militia mosquito nets are specified in Annex C.28.

3.2.2 Cutting requirements

- The cut details of the product must ensure straight fabric edges: The height and length of the curtain header depend on the width of the fabric used;

- The curtain hanging cord, curtain edge thread are cut along the fabric.

3.2.3 Sewing requirements

- The main curtain seam is a Hong Kong rolled seam 0.7 cm from the outer edge;

- The curtain header seam with the main curtain is 0.7 cm from the outer edge;

- The curtain edge seam is 1 cm from the outer edge;

- The wide 1 cm curtain hem seam, the curtain fabric edge allows the use of a hem when the needle is straight and less than 1.5 cm deep, if larger than 1.5 cm, it must be cut and hemmed;

- The corner seam of the curtain bottom seam is 0.1 cm from the outer edge;

- The hanging cord seam at the 4 corners of the curtain header: Sew along the corner edge of the curtain header 5 cm long, sew 2 seams. The central hanging cord along the length of the curtain header is sewn onto the curtain edge seam, backstitched 3 times tightly overlapping;

- All seams must have 4 stitches/1 cm evenly straight without loose stitches, the beginning and end of the seams must backstitch 3 times with a 1 cm long stitch.
