Standards and Recipients for Awarding the Communist Party Badge
Based on Section 27.3.1 of Regulation 24-QD/TW of 2021, Regulation on the implementation of the Communist Party Charter, as follows:
27.3.1. Criteria and subjects for awarding the Communist Party Badge:
a) Long-term revolutionary activists who have maintained the qualifications of a Communist Party member and have 30 years, 40 years, 45 years, 50 years, 55 years, 60 years, 65 years, 70 years, 75 years, 80 years, 85 years, 90 years of party membership or more will be awarded the Communist Party Badge.
b) Communist Party members who are critically ill or deceased may receive early consideration for the award or posthumous conferment of the Communist Party Badge, but not more than one year in advance; party members with 70 years, 75 years, 80 years, 85 years, 90 years of party membership or more, if critically ill, may be considered for early award of the Communist Party Badge, but not more than two years in advance as per regulations.
c) At the time of consideration for the award of the Communist Party Badge, party members who are under disciplinary action by the Communist Party shall not be considered; after 6 months (for reprimand discipline), 9 months (for warning discipline), 1 year (for dismissal discipline), if shortcomings are well addressed and recognized by the party cell, they will be considered for the award of the Communist Party Badge.
