Review of Background Check on In-Laws When Admitting to the Party?
Based on Clause 3.4(a) Article 3 of Guidance 01-HD/TW in 2021, individuals joining the Communist Party will undergo a background check, including the following individuals:
- Individuals joining the Communist Party.
- Biological father, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law (or individuals directly responsible for upbringing); spouse, biological children of individuals joining the Communist Party with full legal capacity (hereinafter collectively referred to as relatives).
=> Thus, according to the aforementioned regulation, the background check of the father-in-law, mother-in-law will be conducted when considering party membership admission.
