Responsibilities and Duties of the Squad Leader of the Militia Unit from July 01, 2020

Based on Article 14 of Circular 29/2020/TT-BQP (Effective from July 1, 2020), the responsibilities of the platoon leader of the militia and self-defense unit are as follows:

1. Responsibilities

To be accountable before the law, party committee (branch), commander, commissar, senior political commissar, and party committee (branch) at their level for the construction, training, and activities of the militia and self-defense unit under their command.

2. Duties

- Commanding the militia and self-defense unit under their command to follow the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, policies and laws of the State, leadership resolutions of the party committee (branch), the management, administration of the People's Committees at all levels or party committee (branch), head of the agency or organization; directives, orders of the senior commander according to the management hierarchy;

- Mastering all aspects of the situation, making plans, submitting for approval to the competent authority; organizing the implementation of tasks for construction, training, readiness for combat, combat service, civil defense and policies of the militia and self-defense unit under their command;

- Registering, managing, grasping the political and ideological situation, qualifications, work capacity of the command positions and soldiers of the militia and self-defense unit under their command;

- Inspecting, coordinating the inspection, reviewing, summarizing, and reporting as prescribed.
