Responsibilities and Duties of Squad Leader in Militia Units from July 1, 2020
Based on Article 14 of Circular 29/2020/TT-BQP (Effective from July 1, 2020), regulating the responsibilities and duties of the squad leader of the militia and self-defense unit as follows:
- Responsibilities
Accountable before the law, the party committee (cell), the commander, the political commissar, the senior political officer, and the party committee (cell) of their level for the establishment, training, and activities of the militia and self-defense unit under their authority.
- Duties
- Command the militia and self-defense unit under their authority to adhere to the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, the policies and laws of the State, the leadership resolutions of the party committee (cell), and the management and administration of the People's Committees at all levels or the party committee (cell), the head of agencies and organizations; to follow directives and orders from senior commanders as per the delegated management levels;
- Thoroughly understand the overall situation, develop plans, submit them for approval to the competent authority; organize the implementation of tasks concerning the establishment, training, readiness for combat operations, combat service, civil defense, and policies of the militia and self-defense unit under their authority;
- Register, manage, grasp the political and ideological situation, the level, and working capacity of the command positions and soldiers of the militia and self-defense force under their authority;
- Inspect, coordinate inspections, review, summarize, and report according to regulations.
