Responsibilities of a Senior Inspector of the Communist Party
Based on Section a, Clause 3, Part A of the Standards, Titles, and Appointment Levels for Inspectors issued with Decision 505/QD-UBKTTW, which sets out the responsibilities of a Senior Inspector of the Communist Party (Position Code: 04.023A):
a. Responsibilities
As a professional staff member working in the provincial or city inspection committee offices and equivalent units (within the administrative, public sector), the Central Inspection Committee Office; assists the provincial or city inspection committees and equivalents, the Central Inspection Committee in charge of one or several fields of work; performs inspection and supervision tasks in one or multiple localities or units; performs thematic inspections and supervision tasks or assumes other professional responsibilities to support the inspection and supervision tasks; is responsible for organizing and directly implementing large-scale, complex inspections and supervisions that involve multiple sectors and fields; takes the lead or participates in formulating regulations and procedures related to the assigned tasks.

b. Duties
- Takes the lead or directly conducts research, proposes guidelines, plans, and measures to implement inspection and supervision tasks as stipulated in the Communist Party Charter; fulfills tasks assigned by the party committee and complies with the resolutions, directives, and decisions of the Communist Party; internal regulations and rules related to the assigned tasks and fields of work; personally accountable to the committee, the standing committee, and unit leaders for conclusions, recommendations, and proposals.
- Leads or directly participates in drafting resolutions, directives, regulations, rules of the Communist Party and the institution; appraises projects within the assigned field. Proposes implementation methods, directs, inspects execution.
- Leads or coordinates, monitors, inspects, analyzes, assesses, and reports on the implementation of resolutions, directives, guidelines, policies of the Communist Party and the State, regulations, and rules of the institution; identifies incongruities within these texts to propose guidelines and measures for amendments and adjustments.
- Directs the organization, plans, and conducts professional activities; builds databases, manages documents and files according to regulations.
- Leads or participates in State, ministries and central authorities, provincial, and city-level research projects.
- Leads or directly participates in compiling professional guidance materials; participates in teaching training courses on inspection and supervision techniques for lower levels.
