Regulations on Safety and Information Security on the National Public Service Portal
Based on Article 54 of the Regulation on the management, operation, and exploitation of the National Public Service Portal issued together with Decision 31/2021/QD-TTg (Effective from December 09, 2021) stipulating information safety and security as follows:
The service providing unit is responsible for ensuring the secure, safe, and uninterrupted operation of the National Public Service Portal; promptly exchanging information, cooperating with the Government Office of Vietnam, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Government Cipher Committee in case the National Public Service Portal is attacked by hackers.
Ministries and central authorities, agencies, and localities regularly monitor and ensure the security and safety of information on security servers, information systems, and databases connected to the National Public Service Portal; cooperate with the Government Office of Vietnam, relevant agencies, and units to handle and remedy safety and security issues of information systems and databases connected and integrated with the National Public Service Portal.
The Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Government Cipher Committee shall implement measures to monitor and ensure the safety and security of information for the National Public Service Portal according to the functions and tasks assigned.
The Government Cipher Committee shall deploy cryptographic information security solutions for data transferring, sharing, and storing in the National Public Service Portal.
