Objectives for Arranging the Workforce of Labor Mediators and Labor Arbitrators in Hanoi
How are the objectives for arranging the workforce of labor mediators and labor arbitrators in Hanoi stipulated?Pursuant to Section I, Part III of the Scheme for reviewing and organizing the workforce of labor mediators and labor arbitrators in Hanoi (issued alongside Decision No. 4903/QD-UBND in 2021), the objectives for organizing the workforce of Labor Mediators and Labor Arbitrators in Hanoi are defined as follows:
OBJECTIVES
- Consolidate and strengthen the workforce of labor mediators to ensure they meet the standards and capabilities required for mediation work and support the development of labor relations in the city. Ensure that 100% of mediators have a university degree or higher and have at least 3 years of experience in fields related to labor relations.
- Re-organize and enhance the effectiveness of the City’s Labor Arbitration Council. Ensure that 100% of arbitrators have a university degree or higher, understand the law, and have at least 5 years of experience in fields related to labor relations.
- Assign and organize the implementation of the primary functions for receiving requests to resolve labor disputes; ensure that the mechanisms for receiving, assigning, and supporting the resolution of labor disputes by labor mediators and arbitrators are conducted effectively.
- Enhance the capability of labor mediators and arbitrators to promptly and effectively resolve labor disputes, meet the task requirements in the new phase, minimize the number of complaints, denunciations, strikes, or cases that need to be taken to court for resolution. Ensure that 100% of labor mediators and arbitrators are annually trained and provided with knowledge, skills, and professional practices in labor relations and labor dispute resolution.
