Number of Committee Members, Standing Committee Members, and Inspection Committee Members of Party Committees at All Levels in the Communist Party

Based on Section 14 of Regulation 24-QD/TW in 2021, the Regulation on the Implementation of the Statute of the Communist Party, as follows:

Number of Party Committee Members, Number of Standing Committee Members and Number of Inspection Committee Members of Each Party Committee Level

14.1. The determination of the number of party committee members, standing committee members, and inspection committee members of each party committee level is based on the political tasks, position, and characteristics of each level, on the number of subordinate units, and on the number of party members of each party committee.

14.2. The number of standing committee members at each party committee level must not exceed one-third of the total number of party committee members.

14.3. Before each session of party congresses at various levels, based on the resolution of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo issues directives, and the Central Organization Committee provides specific guidance on preparation and conducting of party congresses at various levels, including regulations on the number (maximum, minimum) of party committee members, standing committee members, and inspection committee members of each party committee level. On this basis, each level of the party committee prepares the personnel for the new term to propose the number of party committee members for the party congress at their level to consider and decide before conducting the election work. After being elected, the new term party committee will discuss and decide on the number of standing committee members and inspection committee members at their level before conducting the election of these positions according to current regulations.
