Is the Voice of Vietnam the same as VOV?

Under Clause 2, Article 1 of Decree 03/2018/ND-CP, the provisions are as follows:

The Voice of Vietnam is an agency under the Government of Vietnam, is the national radio broadcasting station that undertakes the function of disseminating and propagating the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the policies and laws of the State; contributes to education and raising public intellectual standards, serves the spiritual life of the people through radio programs and other forms of journalism and multimedia communication.

2. The short name of the Voice of Vietnam in Vietnamese is TNVN; the international English transaction name is Voice of Vietnam, abbreviated as VOV.

2. The Voice of Vietnam is subject to state management by the Ministry of Information and Communications regarding journalism, radio, and television.

Thus, according to the above provision, the Voice of Vietnam is accurately abbreviated as VOV in its English name.
