Hello, let me ask you, I am 17 years old and have some artistic talent, so I plan to take the art public employee exam at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Please let me know if the government requires me to be 18 years old to take the public employee exam because I currently really want to do this job.

At Article 27 of the Law on Public Employees 2010 there are regulations on the probation regime as follows:

Thus, a public employee's probationary period is not required to be 12 months. The law stipulates that an employee's probation period will be from 3 to 12 months and must be specified in the working contract in Vietnam.

What are prohibitions on public employees in Vietnam?
