Is it prohibited for 5-ton trucks to enter the Binh Dien market in Vietnam? What are penalties for cars entering time prohibited road in Vietnam?

Hi. May I ask if I have a 5 ton truck I want to go to Binh Dien market in Ho Chi Minh City to pick up the goods, will my car be prohibited now? What are penalties for cars entering the time prohibited road?

Please advise. Thank you.

Is it prohibited for 5-ton trucks to enter the Binh Dien market in Vietnam?

In Appendix 1 issued together with Decision 23/2018/QD-UBND of Ho Chi Minh City stipulating corridor routes allowed for operation of heavy trucks regardless of time, specifically as follows:

- Corridor to Phuc Long port, Thu Duc district: Hanoi Highway – Tay Hoa crossroad – Nguyen Van Ba Street – Street No.2 – Phuc Long port (address: 494 Truong Tho street, Truong Tho ward, Thu Duc district) and vice versa.

- Corridor to ports situated along Luu Trong Lu Street, district 7:

+ Nguyen Van Linh - Huynh Tan Phat – Luu Trong Lu Street (including Lien cang A5 Street and Ben Nghe Street)

+ Luu Trong Lu – Huynh Tan Phat – Tran Xuan Soan – Tan Thuan 4 (Street connecting Tran Xuan Soan to Nguyen Van Linh Street) – Nguyen Van Linh Street

- Corridor to ICD port: Street No.1, Thu Duc district (from Nguyen Van Ba Street to Sai Gon River)
