Is it permissible to view my speeding videos?
Regarding your issue, Point a Clause 2 Article 14 of Circular 01/2016/TT-BCA stipulates the tasks, powers, forms, and contents of road traffic patrols and controls by Traffic Police issued by the Minister of Public Security regulates as follows:
When a traffic order and safety violation by persons and vehicles participating in traffic is recorded through technical and professional equipment, the officer executing the order to stop the vehicle for inspection must make an administrative violation record and handle it according to regulations. In case the violator requests to view the images, recorded results of the violation, they must be allowed to view immediately if such images or recorded results are available there; if the images or recorded results are not available immediately, the violator will be guided to view the images and recorded results when handling the violation at the unit's headquarters;
=> Thus, according to this regulation, you can completely request the traffic police who stopped your vehicle to show you the images and recorded results of your violation right at the moment you are stopped. If at that time, the traffic police cannot provide you with the images, they can schedule you to view them when you come to handle the violation at the unit's headquarters. If they still cannot show you the images of your violation, they must bear full responsibility for this action.
Sincerely!
