Is it permissible to postpone the Party admission ceremony?
1. Deadline for Organizing the Admission Ceremony
Within 30 working days from the date of receiving the decision to admit the party member from the competent party committee, the cell must organize the admission ceremony for the party member. If this deadline is exceeded, a report must be made and approval obtained from the immediate superior party committee.
Thus, within 30 working days from the date of receiving the party member admission decision from the party committee, the cell must proceed to organize the party admission ceremony. If this deadline is exceeded, it is required to report and obtain approval from the immediate superior party committee.
Therefore, if only 10 days have passed since receiving the party admission decision, the cell is still allowed to organize the admission ceremony for the party member. This case is still within the prescribed period and it can be understood that the cell is permitted to delay the party admission ceremony within these 30 days.
2. Timing for Official Recognition of Party Members
- Within 30 working days from the date the probationary party member completes 12 months of probation, the cell must review and propose official recognition for the party member; if the conditions for official recognition as a party member are not met, a proposal for name removal must be submitted to the competent party committee.
- Probationary Communist Party members who meet the conditions for official recognition, despite delays in meetings by the cell or delays in approval by the competent party committee, are still officially recognized at the point of completing 12 months of probation.
- In the event that a lower-level party organization has voted three times but has not reached a two-thirds majority of official party members or party committee members approving the official recognition of a probationary party member or proposing name removal from the party member list, it shall report to the immediate superior party committee and the competent party committee for review and decision.
Legal Basis: Regulation 24-QD/TW of 2021
