Insurance Coverage for Village Police Officers?
Based on the provisions of Article 10 of the 2008 Commune Police Ordinance:
The commune police include the positions: Head of Commune Police, Deputy Head of Commune Police, and Commune Police Officers.
Commune Police Officers are assigned to hamlets, villages, neighborhoods, hamlets, and are tasked with permanent duties at the headquarters or workplaces of the commune police.
According to this regulation, although village police officers are responsible for tasks in the village, they are essentially a part of the commune police but do not hold the positions of head/deputy head of the commune police.
Additionally, Clause 1, Article 19 of the Ordinance also stipulates:
The Head of Commune Police, Deputy Head of Commune Police, and Commune Police Officers participate in social insurance and health insurance in accordance with the law.
Therefore, according to this provision, Commune Police Officers are also subject to social insurance and health insurance contributions.
Sincerely!
