What are the standards for participating in the force for the protectionof security and order at the Grasshoots-level in Vietnam?
According to Article 6 of the Law on the Forces participating in the Protection of Security and Order at the Grasshoots-level, the standards for participating in the force for the protection of security and order at the Grasshoots-level are as follows:
Vietnamese citizens who are at least 18 years old and meet all of the following standards are eligible to be considered for recruitment into the force for the protection of security and order at the Grasshoots-level in their place of residence:
- Have the educational level as prescribed by the Minister of Public Security.
- The individual and their family have complied well with the Party's guidelines, the State's laws, and have been confirmed by the People's Committee of the commune where they reside.
- Have sufficient health as confirmed by a medical facility from the district level or above.
- Have a stable place of residence in the area where they are recruited into the force for the protection of security and order at the base.
- Have a clear criminal record, good moral qualities, no criminal record; are not people who are serving criminal sentences in the community or are serving one of the administrative sanctions.
- Have a voluntary application to join the force for the protection of security and order at the base.
Who are the subjects who are allowed to own housing in Vietnam under the Law on Housing (amended)?
Article 8 of the Law on Housing (amended) provides for the subjects and conditions for owning housing in Vietnam as follows:
Subjects and conditions for owning housing in Vietnam
1. The subjects who are allowed to own housing in Vietnam include:
a) Domestic organizations and individuals;
b) Vietnamese citizens residing abroad as prescribed by the nationality law;
c) Foreign organizations and individuals as prescribed in Clause 1 of Article 17 of this Law.
2. The conditions for owning housing include:
a) Domestic organizations and individuals are allowed to own housing through the following forms: investment in construction, purchase, lease purchase, gift, inheritance, capital contribution, exchange, receipt of housing for resettlement in accordance with the law, other forms as prescribed by law;
b) Vietnamese citizens residing abroad who are allowed to enter Vietnam are allowed to own housing through the following forms: investment in the construction of housing on the land area that they are entitled to use in accordance with the law on land; purchase, lease purchase of commercial housing from businesses, cooperatives with the function of real estate business (hereinafter referred to as real estate businesses); purchase, gift, exchange, inheritance of housing from individuals;
c) Foreign organizations and individuals are allowed to own housing through the forms prescribed in Clause 2 of Article 17 of this Law.
3. The Government shall specify the documents proving the subject of owning housing prescribed in this Article.
As regulations above, the subjects who are allowed to own housing in Vietnam include:
[1] Domestic organizations and individuals;
[2] Vietnamese citizens residing abroad as prescribed by the nationality law;
[3] Foreign organizations and individuals who are allowed to own housing in Vietnam, including:
- Foreign-invested economic organizations that invest in the construction of housing projects in Vietnam in accordance with the law;
- Foreign-invested economic organizations, branches, representative offices of foreign enterprises, foreign investment funds, and branches of foreign banks operating in Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as foreign organizations);
- Foreign individuals who are allowed to enter Vietnam.
