Implementation of Security, Order, and Social Safety Duties in Wards in Hanoi City
Based on Article 24 of Decree 32/2021/ND-CP which stipulates the organization of the implementation of tasks regarding security, ensuring order, and social safety in the ward area of Hanoi city as follows:
- Within the scope of their tasks and powers, the People's Committee of the district, district-level town directs and organizes the implementation of tasks regarding security, ensuring order, and social safety according to the law and the following specific tasks:
a) Organize the implementation of tasks to protect security and order, social safety according to the law and tasks to protect national security, ensure order, and social safety assigned by the competent authority;
b) Organize the implementation of building the people's security foundation, the people's security posture associated with the strong people's national defense foundation, the people's national defense posture, participate in building the people's police force, contribute to enhancing the capacity to protect national security, ensure order, and social safety; Implement national defense and security education according to the law;
c) Assign the Ward People's Committee to direct the Ward Police to implement tasks to protect security and order, social safety; Implement policies for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; take the lead or coordinate in building, managing, and protecting important works related to national security;
d) Direct the Ward People's Committee to cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations, and related agencies and organizations in the ward in implementing tasks to protect security and order, social safety;
e) Direct the Ward People's Committee to comply with inspection, supervision, complaint, and denunciation resolution and handle legal violations in the ward; Conduct preliminary and final reviews on the implementation of tasks to protect security and order, social safety.
- The Ward People's Committee proposes and coordinates with the implementation of the tasks specified in Clause 1 of this Article according to the decentralization and authorization of the People's Committee, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the district, district-level town.
