How Many Vice Chairpersons Can a People's Committee Have at Most?
Based on Clause 1, Article 20 of the 2015 Law on the Organization of Local Government, it is stipulated as follows:
The provincial People's Committee consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairmen, and Commissioners.
A class I provincial People's Committee has no more than four Vice Chairmen; class II and class III provincial People's Committees have no more than three Vice Chairmen.
The Commissioners of the provincial People's Committee include Heads of specialized agencies under the provincial People's Committee, Commissioner in charge of military affairs, and Commissioner in charge of public security.
Thus, a maximum of 04 Vice Chairmen is allowed for a class I provincial People's Committee according to legal regulations.
