How many children will a private kindergarten teacher teach?
According to the provisions in Clause 3, Article 5 of Joint Circular 06/2015/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV:
* In places where the maximum number of children per group or kindergarten class is allocated according to the provisions in Article 3 of this Joint Circular, the staffing norms for preschool teachers are determined as follows:
- For child groups: Maximum of 2.5 teachers/group;
- For kindergarten classes with 02 sessions/day: Maximum of 2.2 teachers/class;
- For kindergarten classes with 01 session/day: Maximum of 1.2 teachers/class.
* In places where the number of children does not meet the requirements to be allocated per group or kindergarten class as stipulated in Article 3 of this Joint Circular, the staffing norms for preschool teachers will be calculated based on the average number of children per age group in each group, specifically:
- For child groups: 01 teacher for 06 children aged 3 to 12 months or 08 children aged 13 to 24 months or 10 children aged 25 to 36 months;
- For kindergarten classes with 02 sessions/day: 01 teacher for 11 children aged 3 - 4 years or 14 children aged 4 - 5 years or 16 children aged 5 - 6 years;
- For kindergarten classes with 01 session/day: 01 teacher for 21 children aged 3 - 4 years or 25 children aged 4 - 5 years or 29 children aged 5 - 6 years.
* For independent child groups and kindergarten classes, the preschool teacher staffing norms apply as stipulated in Points a and b of this Clause.
Thus, depending on the number of sessions/day in the kindergarten class as well as the age of the students, the number of teaching staff will be allocated according to the above regulations.
Sincerely!
